QUOTE FOR ENGINEERING 3D PRITNED PARTS!
This service directly compliments prototype development, replacement parts, or catering to your imagination. We can engineer parts or models that are engineering like or with the expectations you would expect from 3D printed parts. This would begin with a new CAD model developed by 3dofmind in-house. Upon completion of the CAD model, it would be 3D printed. Cost would consist of design time, time to define 3D print parameters for slicer software needed to print the model, and the time and material cost for printing models.
* FDM printing.
* Max size: individual parts must fit in a cube sized 256x256x256mm / 10x10x10 inch cube for FDM . Additional size restrictions may be needed due to material choice.
* Limited color availability.
* Additional colors can be made available at additional cost.
* Using current inventoried materials and colors will reduce cost and production time.
* Shipping is free for items quoted over $20 to locations in the US
* We will do our best effort to package safely for shipping; however, we cannot be held responsible for it during/after shipping
* We are a small business, therefore the time to produce and ship the final product will depend on availability of the chosen material, the complexity and quantity involved.
* Customizations of the models after initial design effort may be offered for an additional cost depending on the complexity.
*Ownership of original and modified models remains with 3DOFMIND unless otherwise negotiated.

Engineering Cost:
*$35/hr for design; a minimum of 1hr will be applied for design.
*$35/hr for defining print parameters; a minimum of 1hr will be applied for design.
*$5/hr for 3D print time
*Cost of material will be assessed after design is complete.
If the customer wants more of items designed and printed by 3dofmind after initial delivery to customer, a price per item will be assessed and provided to the customer thereafter.
